Wild Orchid is a relaxed coastal café in the heart of Tathra, serving fresh, seasonal food alongside specialty coffee roasted right here on the Far South Coast of New South Wales.

Whether you’re joining us for breakfast, lunch, a quick takeaway coffee or something sweet, everything we create is made with care using quality ingredients, thoughtful recipes and a passion for genuine hospitality.

Inspired by the laid-back lifestyle of our beautiful seaside town, we’ve created a welcoming space where locals feel at home and visitors instantly feel like regulars. We believe great cafés are about more than just good food—they’re places where people gather, connect and slow down for a while.

Our Coffee

We’re proud to serve specialty coffee from Alfresco Coffee Roasters, an independent boutique roastery based in Moruya on the Far South Coast of NSW. Their team is passionate about ethically sourcing exceptional coffees and roasting each batch to showcase the unique character of every origin.

Our espresso is brewed using Alfresco’s award-winning Church Street blend—a smooth, balanced coffee with notes of cherry, apricot, hazelnut and milk chocolate. Designed to shine both as an espresso and through milk, it’s the perfect everyday coffee and one we’re proud to share with our community.
